What clothes to wear in London in June
The weather in London in June is mostly very pleasant although there is still a chance of rain.
I’d recommend some lighter layers for the warmer sunny days, for example shorts, t-shirt and light jumper or sweater for the evenings. For the cooler days and evenings a light to medium jacket would be good.
To stay dry, I’d recommend a light waterproof layer that you can wear on top of your other layers.
Hats and gloves aren’t necessary in June, but sunglasses will be useful for the sunny days. Don’t forget your suncream either – it’s easy to get caught out when the sun is shining.
An umbrella can be useful when it’s raining. June is not usually a particularly windy month so the risk of wind damaging your umbrella is quite low.
